baby doll
by famed doll designer
Madame Alexander.
She
is a
n
all
American
original,
as t
he doll and
her
clothing
were
made in the United States of America.
Her
swee
t
face
has
blue sleepy eyes, rosy cheeks, pink lips
and b
rown
hair,
and
she comes with her complete outfit—
a pink ribbon in her hair,
a
pink and white gingham
dress and bloomers,
and
white
knit booties and a white lace-trimmed bib with pink rose embellishments. She also comes with her original
box, pink tissue paper and original paper hang tag.
Her head, arms and legs are made of a kind of plastic/vinyl material, she has a cloth body with a working crier mechanism, and
with her bent knees
she measures about 14 inches long.
This doll is in
near perfect
vintage condition,
but
please note that she has a clouded right eye
.
She was not played with,
but, instead,
kept as a collectible.
The clothing elastic has loosened with age, the box has
imperfections
including chipping and a split corner on the lid, the tissue paper has tears and the hang tag is missing its pink string
