Today we are happy to offer for sale a fabulous vintage Japanese Nippon porcelain painted lidded jar!
This lovely dresser jar is finely crafted and detailed. It features a beautiful Art Nouveau-inspired design of blooming purple violets highlighted in gold against a bed of pale green leaves and creamy white background. A matching round lid with knob handle completes the set. The piece is signed on the bottom "Nippon Hand Painted" with a maple leaf stamp.
Jar presents well and is in very good vintage condition, with very minor display wear and patina and minimal loss to gilding. Please review all photos. This fabulous plate will make a fine addition to any Nippon porcelain collection...Fresh to the market!
