Stunning Extremely Rare IE&C Co. hand painted set that consists double handled covered sugar bowl, creamer, serving dish,  done in moriage with extensive gilding c. 1905. Made in Japan. The porcelain produced by IE&C is typical of early period works (1885/1905) characterized by an ashen color and decorated extremely painstakingly, with elaborate, exquisite skill and refinement. IE&C items are heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau style of decoration. This creamer has a repair on rim of spout and tiny chip to the undesite od the item that is not very noticeable (see photos) otherwise, it is in excellent condition! No other chips, cracks or missing moriage. light wear to some gold.  Beautiful collector's item. Will look great in any room or simply display for it's striking beauty! Makes a unique gift!
