    Description

    This is a heavily enameled plate with cherry blossoms on a black background.  the border is stylized pink clouds on a blue background.  It has the Nippon mark on the back from early Japanese pieces.  It is 8 & 1/2" across.  The bottom has an unglazed foot rim and looks to me as if it could be a Chinese blank.  It is quite heavy and has no damage other than a little wear to the color around the rim.
