Ashton Drake Peter Playpal- almost complete/no box & extra clothing

Description

Here for your consideration is a Peter Playpal reproduction doll from Ashton Drake. He is life size measuring a tall 37".
Peter has a blushed complexion with rosy cheeks &
cheeks with
little light brown freckles.  He has thick rooted hair that's parted on the side and I would say it is only lightly dry and his new owner might want to
condition
it to give it more sheen,
he has
painted on brown eyebrows
;
painted
lower eyelashes, blushed pink smiling lips.  He has brown
sleep
eyes with black eyelashes.  He is a very detailed reproduction. His fingernails and toenails are light
ly
blushed as are his his knees.
Peter
has
most of
his original
outfit consisting of a
red with black print fine corduroy jacke
t which is
missing two buttons,
the
white shirt with hi
s
name
embroidered
on it
with a snap bottom
, a black wool bowtie, gray wool shorts with
the
belt and 1 red sock.
He is wearing his black leatherette shoes.
The shoes are in very good condition with a bit of dimpling on the front of one shoe.
He is missing his wool cap and one red sock.
I will
also
include with him the pair of blue shorts,
the
T-shirt and
the
blue button down print shirt
and
white socks
which
he is wearing in the photo. Also included is
a
red, white and blue hoodie
; the sleeves are a bit long but if you roll them up a little it works fine for him; he will also come another pair of socks featuring foxes and a pair of Batman pajamas.

Issues
: I find that the right leg is moderately swingy and is a bit shorter than the left leg. He will pose fine on a stand or with some minimal support under his right foot to balance him. Or, he can be positioned against a wall to get the necessary support. I checked with a fellow doll collector who also owns this doll and was told that this is not an uncommon occurrence in the Ashton Drake Peter Playpal doll. Also his right upper calf has a grey stain to it that might have been caused by dark socks he might have been wearing in the past. I purchased him second hand. One finger on his right hand has an approx. half inch reddish mark and his right cheek appears to have a very light, faint dot of a beige color to it. Difficult to see unless you are looking for it.
The neck has a bit of a gap when your turn his head to the side - I am not sure if this is a flaw or just normal for this type of doll, otherwise the head is quite firmly attached.

He will display nicely and would be a great addition to your Playpal Family Collection- especially if your are in need of a boy companion for your girls!
