ANTIQUE NORITAKE LANDSCAPE HAND PAINTED VASE GILDED 15.5” TALL.

An exquisite hand-painted vase. The vase was produced by the Nippon in the Noritake, Japan. It was originally named "Scenic", produced in the 1920s, and hand painted. The porcelain vase bears beautifully rendered landscape images, with cottage, trees, hills and late evening sunset.The landscape scene is surrounded by Cloisonné Enamel and gold decorations, raised gold dots on the neck of the vase and on the bottom. It is not marked, it was brought to US by a traveling family long time ago.
The vase is 15.5” tall and 10” wide at the handles. Impressive size. Hard to find. Great condition - no nicks or chips. It has few pinpoint black spots on the back side which do not distract from the beauty of the vase. Age related wear to the gilding of the handles, and the top edge.
