    Description

    Please email with any questions. Antique hand painted hexagonal porcelain vase, 11 7/8" tall, 5" across the base point to point. Bottom mark in green "Hand Painted NIPPON" around an "M" inside a wreath. There is a hand painted rural scene with a little house nestled into the scenery. Surrounding the scene is a design of violets against a pale gray background. The moriage work is in small bead-like dots that edge the vase, frame the scene and link the sprigs of violets. No chips or cracks. Some slight surface wear primarily to the metallic gold.
